Welcome to the Xfinity Forum, and thanks for posting to share your experience, @Kpiepenbrok! I want to apologize and clarify that our responsibility is to create and submit a ticket for your local line techs to come out and bury the line once the line is replaced. Unfortunately, the field techs who came out to replace the lines don't have the necessary tools to bury them. I can create the request but will need to gather a few pieces of information first.
