Ongoing Issue with Buried Line – Urgent Follow-Up Needed
Dear Xfinity Support,
I’m writing to express my continued frustration regarding a line that was buried on my property a few months ago. The installation caused multiple problems:
- Several sprinkler heads and underground pipes were damaged during the process.
- The line was buried so shallowly that it created a visible mound, which now causes water runoff into my driveway.
- Portions of the line remain exposed and are clearly not buried to code or standard.
Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, the process has been exhausting and unproductive. Eventually, a representative visited the site, took photos, and informed me that the subcontractors responsible for the work would reach out to schedule a repair appointment. To date, I have received no communication from them.
I understand that teams can be busy or backed up—but in today’s world, that should be communicated clearly and promptly. No large company should operate with such a severe breakdown in customer communication. I’m asking that someone take ownership of this issue and coordinate the necessary repairs without further delay. Please confirm receipt of this message and let me know when I can expect action to be taken.
Sincerely,
Barlow S [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Hello, @B_28 let us resolve this issue for you, so the line will be securely buried and your yard restored. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:
1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon
2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)
4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
