Old cables and neighbors cables removal

Hi, I used to be an xfinity customer, and when I disconnected my service they just cut the line at the pole, the didn't remove the cables from my property. Also, my neighbors xfinity lines run through my property and I need them moved to rum through their property. Please let me know how to get this done

@user_e9cyxb Good afternoon! Thank you for taking the time to create a post in the Xfinity Forums. The line connecting your home to our service is left after discontinuing service with us. This makes it super easy to reconnect the service if you, or a future resident, decide to take up Xfinity services. We can always submit a request to have those cables removed if you don't want them connected.

Regarding the neighbor's cables, we try to not run lines through neighboring properties, but there are scenarios where that is impossible or cost-prohibitive. We can always take a look, but if it requires significant construction or an extension, we may require you to cover the cost.

For both requests, we will need to collect some information from you. Please, send a DM to "Xfinity Support" with your full name and address. Thank you!

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page) or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message
