I have spoken with a representative for approximately 1 hour and they said they could adjust my plan. I previously paid $30/mo but last few months i have been paying $87/mo. The representative stated that i can keep the same plan, Connect More, with 400mbps, unlimited data, (xfi complete free for 5yrs) for ground land line cable internet. With no contract, no extra fees only $63 / month. There were two issues with the registration process one was a box that stated peacock would have access to my personal information which i do not wish to share and one other issue regarding some peacock service which i did not ask or discuss. I was told i would be called and possibly be able to be emailed that i can agree to the terms and I will NOT be subject to any added fees, no peacock services, no sharing of information as these did not apply but the system could not show that. We tried the text link, the email link, and the verbal approval however the representative could not make those two options not show up and has not yet emailed me a brief statement stating what was mentioned.

On our order approval links it shows: "You agree to the sharing of certain personal information, including email address, account, device, and subscription information between Xfinity and Peacock to fulfill your request for services. Xfinity will process information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at xfinity.com/privacy/policy. Peacock will process my personal information for the purposes set forth in its privacy policy. Use of Peacock's service is governed by the Peacock Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, available on peacocktv.com."

 

The information above is included with all of our video, streaming, and internet package orders as a lot of them do include Peacock. Connect More does not include Peacock so the agent is correct that this would not be applicable to you. It would only be if you get a free Peacock account included with your package. We share information with Peacock that you have a subscription through us so you can link it to their service (when applicable).

 

We are not able to remove wording from the order approval links. You would have to agree to that to get the new promotion. Please let me know if you have additional questions or if you would like to move into that promotion.
