Not receiving texts

I was coerced into switching to Xfinity Now Mobile from AT&T so that I could save money on my Internet bill yesterday.

I switched to Now Mobile, and all of yesterday, I couldn't receive calls or texts.  Today, I'm back to not being able to receive any texts.  It's super annoying considering I have relatives who are visiting, and they cannot even contact me.  Xfinity's Customer Service is super disappointing - they just put you through to agents who take super long to respond as if we have all day.  What can I do to fix this?  Is there a number I can contact?  The chat function is just taking me through a loop at this point and not even connecting me to an agent.  I'm seriously ready to switch my service back to AT&T because at least they were reliable.
