Not being able to fix problem

My mother is 86 and is in assisted living.  She has had problems with her picture quality for months now.  Technicians have been out at least a half dozen times without permanently fixing the issue.  They have also tried to fix it outside of her apartment.  Every time it is temporarily OK but within hours or a few days it is back to a pixelated picture on almost all of the channels.  Today she was told it is noise on the line?

The TV is all she does and this is a real problem because it gets so bad she cannot watch it.  Is this ever going to be corrected or do we have to try to find another company to provide service?

I am hesitant to put her personal information on a forum post.  Can someone reach out to me for more information or give me another method of reaching someone?

user_99f930 I can completely understand your concerns for your mom's security and of course her wanting to be able to watch TV. I would feel the same for my mom.

If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.

I do not see a chat icon or a bell icon to initiate a direct conversation.

Thank you for letting me know, @user_99f930! Our good friend, @BruceW, created this excellent explanation for us!

To send a private message to Xfinity Support from any Forum page:

  • Click "Sign In" (if necessary - there will be a visible prompt)
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" (square speech bubble) icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
  • As you are typing, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  • An "Xfinity Support" graphic should replace the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
