Hello @user_rto5i8, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry to hear you haven't received an update on the service interruption. There are multiple ways to check on a service interruption in your area. You can do so from the Xfinity app. You can sign in to your online account and click the house icon to view service interruption information for your location, including: A brief description of the interruption and what you can expect. The interruption type and its cause. The estimated time to fix the interruption and the status of repairs (if applicable). You can text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) to check for interruptions in your area. You can also choose the option to text me with updates to get a text message update as soon as your Xfinity services are fixed for the account you’re signed in under. I have also attached an article to review on checking for service interruptions. Have you checked through any of the mentioned options?
Yes, I have and the thr app description is vague. Xfinity is usually good with sending updates via text and email in regards to service interruptions coupled with estimated times as to when we shoukd expect service. I have only received one notification since 3:30 am. I guess I will have to go to the news to report the ussue since Xfinity isn't communicating with its customers.
@user_rto5i8 If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.
