No wifi service due to outage

I am extremely dissatisfied with xfinity. I am almost at 3 days without any wifi service due to weather and outage reported. I work from home and rely on wifi completely. Xfinity does not provide real time updates on when the issue will be fixed. Instead they keep saying that they are working on fixing the issue. I attempted many times to ask if they can extend my cell data so that I can tether to my computer for work and they have refused. I think this is very unprofessional and they do not listen to customers concerns or compromise. I am seriously thinking about changing companies due to the very poor customer service!

I agree with you!  I have a vacation home in another state, and the electricity and therefore wifi went out due to a storm.  The electricity was restored 2 days ago, but the wifi is still out, and I can't tell if my heat is working there because the smart thermostat can't connect. The Xfinity website just tells me my internet has an outage, there's no more info than that.  I can't chat with or speak to a real person, the stupid AI assistant is useless.
