if there's a service interruption in the area the app will let you know and give you an estimated time or an expectation when service will be back up and running.
If there's no service interruption in the area it'll run a diagnostic signal check and do some remote troubleshooting. If the remote troubleshooting does not fix the issue it will connect you with the Xfinity assistant to set up for a tech to come out and fix the issue.
Let me know if this information was helpful and if you have any other questions or concerns.
