No one at xfinity has the capability to update firmware for xfi pod 2nd generation

I have spent many hours, on  the phone, restarting my modem, taking the xfi app off my phone and re starting, (my wifi sign is strong) trying many ways as well as 2 techs visit trying to activate a xfi pod 2nd generation.  One person on the phone said the problem was the firmware, and ones again sent out an Tech,  come to the conclusion per all tech support as well as in home visit Techs that there is no way to update the firmware.   I even tried difference pods.  None worked.

The firmware date on my 2nd Gen pod is,       20240927014330

I assume they have a process to push the update from their engineering or support groups as during the time I have had their devices I have seen the firmware version change many times, since the original poster is having issues getting the pod online I would hope they would replace it (again) I think this should be elevated to eng or more reachable the ceo's office so that the proper resource can be involved.

Thank you. Unfortunately in my location I have been told by two different Techs that there is no way to update the firmware, I have bought and returned 3 different 2nd pods.  We live in California. When asking others in my area, they said they don't use xfi pods, because they don't work...and are two expensive, they use other brands.  And with the new rates coming I will switch to AT&T. Currently monthly not including our cellphones.  We pay $285.00 a month.
