No longer have access to email account that “verify your email” code was sent to

I’m trying to sign into my email account, but I no longer have access to the email account the verification code is being sent to.  I also do not have an option to have the code sent via text to the phone number listed as a verification number.

user_ggyjsk Hello, I understand you may not have the methods needed to verify the account online. Have you tried giving out customer service agents a call yet?

I've got the same issue - no access to the email that the code is being sent to, and completely unable to reach any live agent through chat.  I don't mind making a phone call for this, but what number should be called and what issue should be given?  I tried to reach a live agent via the Virtual Assistant but the virtual just keeps saying 'tell me what your problem is so I can get you to the right person' and regardless of what I type, the same response is given.

msmayor845 If you do not have access to the current email address and there is not an option to receive the code an alternate way our Customer Security assurance team would be the best to reach out to. You can use the 1-800-Xfinity number to request to be connected. Network security would be the prompt I would recommend to get to them directly but you can always ask to be connected by any support team you reach.

Thanks - I did call the 800-Xfinity number and tried to ask for Network Security - the automatic menu prompts didn't like that option and eventually said 'we cannot help' and hung up on me.  I turned to Google and found another number for Customer Security Assurance (888-565-4329) and tried their...was connected quickly to a great tech who knew exactly how to fix it and within minutes, I had regained access to the email.  Not sure why the bot assistant doesn't give that number out (or even recognize email issues as a problem to provide at least some resolution to) but right now, happy to have regained access.

msmayor845 That is great to hear you were able to get a hold of the Customer Security Assurance team I knew they would be the best ones to help get you fixed up with an issue like this!
