No internet

Technician came to the house as my internet has been dropping off for about 4 months now. He couldn't find anything in the house he looked at the line coming in and he said it's very old and it's not the proper cable coming from the street to the house as our house sits way off the road and was going to schedule with the installation crew to put a new cable line in and I have heard nothing yet and it's been almost 3 weeks
