No internet or cable

Help!!  I’m trying to get my Xfinity cable and internet back on.  It’s been a day and a half already.  Customer service was not helpful, scheduling a technician for Saturday evening!  We use internet for work, and this is probably the last chance with Xfinity unless it’s quickly resolved.

@user_c6a5fb   We know how important it is to be connected again immediately. The first available appointment that fits your schedule is always selected. You can see if there are better times to match your availability here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-my-account-app-manage-appointments. It's the guide on managing the visit, and you can select other times. If nothing sooner is avialable, there is a link on the right for the Appointment WaitList. That will get you a sooner visit if one becomes available. We'll follow up here with you on Saturday to be sure you have a good visit. Let us know if you get a sooner appointment.

Have you tried unplugging your box[es] and removing the cable from them for a few seconds and then setting them back up again?  Sometimes that will restore the service.  [I just had to do that myself last week when my services went down; I didn't think of doing it for a few hours after I missed one of the women's basketball games.  Services came back up with no problem and I could have kicked myself for not thinking of it sooner!]

Just a suggestion.  It might not work for you, but that's a troubleshooting thing to try first.

May I ask how long you have been experiencing this error? To confirm, are you using the xfinity website or third party client server such as Outlook?
