No internet for 8 days now, and no update

our internet went out on Saturday January 13th due to a power outage. Our power was restored on January 16th, but internet continues to be out. We work from home and internet is essential to work, and we can’t get any information from Xfinity about a repair or when it will be back. The lack of communication is infuriating, and I’d just like an update about restoring our internet access and when we’ll be able to work again.

@user_e70yco I can certainly understand the frustration and stress this is causing and do apologize for the major inconvenience. Our technicians are working as quickly as they can to have services properly restored to the full area, and the best place to see any information or updates would be through the Xfinity app/website. Our team would see the same information for an ETA, and though power has been restored residentially, there are often times when power to the local plant takes longer to be restored.
