No Internet and losing money

Going on almost a week with no Internet and my boyfriend works from home. He has not been able to make any money this week because he can't get online, we need his income to pay our bills. I just hope that Xfinity will be kind enough to grant all those affected with some sort of discount on this months bill. We pay enough money and we haven't been able to use it for the last week. Also I don't want to be told to use the Xfinity app because that can only be used when we have wifi!
