no dial tone
On Tuesday I went to the local Xfinity store to remove the cable TV part of my Xfinity package, leaving just internet and voice/phone. As part of this I received and installed a new modem/router. The internet is working fine but there is no dial tone on the phones. Following the troubleshooting instructions, I plugged one of the phones directly into phone port 1. Still nothing.
