No dial tone on landline but internet works fine

Please help.  I just had this done recently and it's out again.

Hi user_2m46lp! Thanks for visiting our Xfinity Forum, letting us know about this no dial tone issue. I am sorry to know the voice service is down, but glad to know the internet is still up and running. My team is here to help you get the phone back up and running. 

 

For troubleshooting purposes and at your convenience, can you please plug the phone directly into your Xfinity Wireless gateway to check if the issue is related to the wiring inside your home? When doing so, do you have a dial tone?
