No confirmation email of service cancellation

Am I supposed to receive a confirmation email of service cancellation?

I called the 800-934-6489 number and was routed to a call center who supposedly processed my cancellation request.  The call was placed 10/25/2025 at around 5:30PM Pacific.

The associate provided me with a cancellation number and said they processed my order but I did not receive any written confirmation.  I would like this in addition to the cancellation number I received.

Any help on how to get this is much appreciated.

@user_qdklj3 I’m sorry to  hear you haven't received an email yet. Have you had the opportunity to log into our free XFINITY App to check on the status of your cancelation? I can also check and confirm for you as well. Can you please direct message me your first and last name along with your full service address so that I can assist you further. 
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message.
