no coax outlet in home to set up internet

I ordered the self installation kit for my xfinity internet and then noticed I have no coax outlet in my home. What would I do further from this step to ensure my internet can be established in my home?

Thank you for visiting our Xfinity Community Forums for help with your new install! We can schedule an appointment for one of our technicians to install and activate the outlet for you.

The outlets may require a wall fish which can't be installed by a technician. In that case you must contact a third party (e.g., an electrician) to install the outlet(s). There is a fee of $100 for this installation.

To schedule yours please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started.

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
