No Coax Cable

I've lived in my home for 25+ years and have had Direct TV and CenturyLink.

I call Xfinity and they said that serve was available for my home.

Problem is I have no Coax connection and probably no cable run to my house.

The rep. assured me that this would be taken care of for free.

Is that a true statement?

Hey, @user_2fvw6s! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! We are glad to hear that you will be joining the Xfinity family! If you had direct TV, there should be a coax cable in the house coming from the small satellite. It sounds like there should be a line running from the street up to your house we would just need to switch that over the connection. It's possible this can be free if there were promotions that included a free installation. However, there could be a $100.00 charge for sending out a tech. If you would like us to look further into this, feel free to click the Direct Message icon at the top right of the page, click on the pen and pad icon, enter Xfinity Support in the "To" section of the chat, and provide us with your first/last name and full address so we may further assist you.

I don't want to switch over from Direct TV. That is for TV programs only.

Our internet is DSL which does not use a coax connection.

@user_2fvw6s I understand, often you do get a better discount with bundling services together, which can save you money overall on household expenses. If you'd like us to help with looking at available offers we can definitely do so if you'd like to send us a DM. You can also review new customers offers by clicking here.
