NHL Center Ice

I am trying to add NHL Center Ice to my package as I have done in previous years but am unable to find a way to do so. A phone call to Customer Service was a waste of time. An online search indicates it should be available for $69.99/Year. How do I get the package?

I have had the same experience multiple times trying to add NHL Center Ice with no luck. Cannot add it online, through the X1 box or via customer service. I have been on the phone for up to an hour having Customer $ervice trying to add the package. I'm not sure they even know what it is. And once they almost added the NFL package.

Perhaps it cannot be added until the season has started.

Xfinity is forcing me to go to ESPN+ which I'm not sure I want just because I like the ease of channel switching instead of having to use the app. And I hope they have resolved the connection issues we had last season.

Thank you for reaching out @user_c86af0 I am showing easiest way to watch the games per the link: https://www.xfinity.com/learn/digital-cable-tv/sports/nhl/center-ice shows to add Order on X1 by saying “NHL Center Ice” into your X1 Voice Remote. If you haven't subscribed to NHL Center Ice yet, you'll see a message about how to subscribe. Are you getting that message?

Thanks for the information! I have ESPN+ but you cannot record games or watch a watch a live game on delay so Center Ice is a much better option for me.

@Anon841401 You can watch NHL games from the beginning on espn+ even if the game started 2 hours ago. Center Ice is easier to navigate to watch a game and easier to bounce back and forth between games. I have both and watch center ice more frequently

Yep, I was able to sign up for NHL Center Ice today (4-Oct) on the Xfinity web site. $70 for the season.

I checked the channels and indeed the package is enabled with a pre-season game listed for today, 4-Oct, between the Rangers and the Devils. And of course the oft repeating music.

Thank you!

How do we get the NHL center ice app to work? We were able to purchase the package and it is now in the cable boxes at home. But how do we use the nhl app with Xfinity service on the road for watching while away?

Hello, @user_0ae760. Thanks for posting on our community forums. Do you see a provider's login available on the NHL App? If not, you can also try our Xfinity Stream App to watch the NHL Center ice programming. Have you tried our Xfinity Stream App?
