New xfinity router fan is extremely loud.
Last Sunday we got a new router. It is so loud you can not be in the same room with it. I am thinking about replacing it and just buying one as this one so bad.

@user_a510dc Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums! I would be super concerned if my modem was that loud! I would love to look into this further and see about shipping you a replacement if you would prefer instead of purchasing your own. There are some great benefits to renting our modem, we are able to replace them at no charge if they ever go bad or have issues, you have access to our Xfinity app to have complete control over your in home Wi-Fi. I know I love getting a notification when a new device connects to my internet so I can confirm if it is one of mine, if not I'm able to pause it so it can't use my services.
If you decide you would rather purchase your own modem you would want to make sure that you are looking at compatible devices for your internet speeds. This link will show you what is compatible with your Xfinity services: https://comca.st/3pdk6cf. If you'd rather have us ship a new modem please send us a direct message to "Xfinity Support" with your full name and address to get started.
