New utility pole question

The aerial cable line to our house was very low (almost head height) and came loose over a year ago.  A service worker replaced it with an orange cable lying on the ground, and said that a taller utility pole would be needed. The city replaced our pole over six months ago, but left the Xfinity lines on the trimmed old pole. The next time an Xfinity worker came by he said it could take up to six months for them to prioritize moving the cable to the new higher pole. How can we check the status of our request with the construction department?
