New Service, only a member and not owner

I've talked to 4 different chat people and they keep saying I will be moved from Member to Owner, but it never happens. Is there a way around this with direct support? This is a new account at the location.  Thanks in advance.

Hello user_deb1311

Unfortunately, we are not able to make that type of change. Only the primary account holder can be the owner. As a member, the only option you would have is requesting the primary account holder to set up your profile is what is called an account manager. Below is a link that explains the process, you can relay that to the account holder in order to make the change. Only the account holder would be able to designate who would have access and the level they would have as well.

This is a brand new account with Comcast. I do not know who the primary is. My account was setup incorrectly.

@user_deb1311 Find or change your Xfinity ID utilizing the instructions outlined in that article. In the upper section there is a link for an Xfinity ID lookup tool and once you find it and don't remember the password, you can utilize the password reset link.

I have the same problem. The instructions are  stupid in that you have to be the primary user in order to make any changes, view your bill, etc.

I spent several hours trying to get this changed to no avail, even though they said it would be done.
