New Service — Construction Department
I have been trying to get new services to my home for over a month now. Comcast provides services to everyone around my home, the service pole is actually in my parents back yard 300 yards away from the pole in my yard, but for some reason we can not get services and can not get updates from anyone about when services will be available. I have a ticket number and the request has supposedly been in with the "construction department " for weeks now, however we haven't heard a word. The email contact and area office can't seem to provide any information and the phone number I was provided to call goes directly to a message requesting my ticket number and call back information with a promise to return your call within the week. I have been leaving messages since July 30th and still haven't heard a word from anyone concerning our request. My husband and I are both disabled and because of oyr disability we can not move into the new house until we at least have internet/phone services. Comcast employees (email contact and area store employees) promised expedited services due to our disability, but we are still waiting. We have been Comcast customers for 30+ years and have always had decent service, however this is just unexceptable. I hate to move on, but at this time I am investigating other companies to obtain the services we need so that we can get moved. Not only is this holding us up from moving, but it is also causing us extreme financial difficulties because we are stuck living out of our old residence in order to have the services we need. Can anyone help?
