New product Xfinity now

Hi my name is Eric I received a Xfinity now modem but my house does not have any coax Outlets I thought the modem ran off of 5G is there anything we can do to help my email address is

Greetings, @user_75x9ij! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about your NOW Internet Gateway. We are here for your support.

 

Up until just recently, you had to have an active home connection in order to set up NOW Internet. I think you can make arrangements with the Xfinity Assistant through the [NOW Portal](https://www.xfinity.com/support/now) to have your home tap activated, but I'm not entirely sure if they can arrange for a cable outlet to be installed. I would recommend reaching out to the Xfinity Assistant to see if this option was available in your area.

 

We can definitely help with getting a traditional internet service account set up and installed, if you wanted to go that route, but we do not have access to anything related to NOW Internet, unfortunately. If you would like to see what options we have available, please let me know.
