@user_tjh1cq Great question. At Xfinity, we bill one month in advance. Any plan change will be prorated and reflected on the following billing statement. Usually you will notice the new speed tier during the overnight updates performed. If You want to push that new speed to your modem immediately, we recommend resetting your modem by unplugging it's power cable from the outlet and wait at least 1 minute before plugging back in again.
