New Modem Request/Service is Spotty

My internet is good… when it’s working. It has been consistently dropping in and out lately. 

1. My modem is 5 years old and I would like a newer model. 

2. I would like to know if if there is a service issue at my home

Hello @user_4aqn1n, I will be more than happy to help you with your concerns. Has this been an issue of a huge drop-off or has your services been gradually decreasing?

@XfinityDuron​ I moved to this house in December. It has gradually gotten more spotty

Understood, it does sound more of a modem issue, would you mind sending me your name and the address to your account in a Direct message?

 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
