New Modem No Phone

I am at the end of my rope trying to get to a real person.  The xfinity chatbot is totally frustrating and ineffective.  I started the new modem and receive good internet.  However, there in no phone?  Any help is appreciated.  [Edited: "Personal Information"]

user_vka24 Thanks for posting on our Forums. Are you not receiving a dial tone, or cannt make/place calls? A few steps I would recommend are trying the different ports on the back of the modem, (if you have a cordless phone) place the phone on the base and then unplug it for a few minutes to make sure it receives the signal again once reconnecting. Our team can also check that the equipment has fully activated on our end and that the equipment codes are in order as well. Please let us know if these steps help.
