New Line run

Have a question and any help would be appreciated. Live in an apartment complex and everything was fine then only started getting 1% of my internet speed. Had a tech come out and he stated the signals at the tap were good but the line may be bad - enter the second tech who actually checked in the attic, my apartment and ped and determined what I already knew, the line is bad and has to be rerun...heres where it gets sticky. I was under the impression the tech would run the line because when I talked with Tech Support to have the second tech come out, I made it very clear that a new line would need to be run in an apartment on the second floor that goes straight into the attic, across and down through the spout and into the ped box...nothing that a barrel connection and wire grease...maybe an hour would solve the problem...nope. He said that Comcast does not have an agent for this complex and that the management will have to call an electrician out to run the new line. Management calls their electrician which finally showed up on 2/4 and this all started on 1/20/2025. After explaining what was going on they took a look at the run, marked the lines in the attic and said they would be back today. Got home and checked my speed and I'm barely getting 10MB so I run up to the office and asked what happened. The electricians basically said they weren't able to run and we would have to call someone else to come do it. Waiting for the complex to make a move is like watching paint dry. I am kinda stuck at this point and looking for some advice

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the hotspots and have used them when it completely goes out. My issue is I work from home and do a lot of VPN which the hotspots are not a fan of. I also use a lot of port forwarding. Getting to the point of ordering some RG6 and running it myself. Will be a month here shortly and paying for something I'm not getting because parties can't make up their mind of who's responsible is a bit too much. I need a solid solution and not a band-aid

I also work from home and completely understand how impactful this issue is @user_d53db2. An electrician is needed for wall fishing. A wall fish is a method of running and “fishing” wiring through the drywall. Xfinity customers can receive up to 25% discount on HelloTech installations.
