Hello there, you have come to the correct place. We will first need to be sure that you qualify for the XB10, all customers do not.

To qualify for the XB10 modem, you just need to be in an FDX (Full Duplex) internet area with an internet speed of 500mbps or higher 👍 Do you know offhand if that's currently the case for you?

You can also find more information on our XB10 modems at xfinity.com/support/articles/broadband-gateways-userguides

Okay nice that's at least one of the two requirements 👍 If you're not sure whether you're in an FDX area, we can definitely check for you! Please send us a direct chat message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the full service address associated with your account to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Hi, How do I find out if I'm eligible?

@pinksparkletini Thanks for adding to the thread. You need symmetrical download and upload speeds to qualify. If you have Gig speeds for example, both the download and upload have to be Gig speeds.

@XfinityBenny Download is 1458.9. Where can I find the upload speed?

Hello pinksparkletini, the steps to find your upload speed are here:

To find your upload speed, you can use the Xfinity Speed Test. Here’s how:
Visit the Xfinity Speed Test website or use the Xfinity app.
For non-xFi Gateway or your own modem, run the test from the Overview section in the app.
For xFi Gateway, run the test from the Wi-Fi section of the app.

The test will provide details about your upload speed and other performance metrics. Ensure your device supports HTML5 and JavaScript for optimal results.

This service is available to all Xfinity Internet subscribers.

We are here if you need more help.
