new equipment to be installed by xfinity
We are having new equipment from Xfinity mailed to us so that we will be able to watch Paramount + W. We need a technician from Xfinity to do the installation. How do I make this appointment once the new equipment arrives?

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_njunl8! When the new equipment arrives, it should come with instructions on how to activate the box. The box would mainly need to be connected to the coaxial cable the previous equipment was using. From there, our Xfinity app can send some activation signals. If there are any issues during the activation process, an appointment can be scheduled using the Xfinity assistant as mentioned here.
We’d love to assist with activating the new equipment and scheduling a technician if needed. Do you already have the tracking number and know when the new equipment will arrive?
