New Customer is more valuable than an existing loyal customer?

I called twice to upgarde my account to X-1 saver pro+ triple pay at the promotional rate of $ 94.99/ month but all the representatives I talked to quoted me a price of $ 120/month and after "after taxes and fees"- a fee of 175 $/month!

I specifically asked if I could also get the promotional rate but was declined twice. It just seems so unfair that a new customer would get a better rate and I am being asked to pay more for the same services even though I have been with comcast for so long and have made all my payments on time.
