New Construction
I am working with a general contractor to build a new home in Southern New Mexico, in an existing subdivision with larger (around 2.5 acre) lots, served by Xfinity. The distance from the curb to the house will be significantly greater than 200 feet. We are now working with plumbing and electrical subs to bring utilities in from the curb. If it is possible for Xfinity to share one of these trenches (presumably with some separation), we would like to know how to go about that. I tried calling Xfinity, but the rep I spoke with did not know how to work that out. All she could do is confirm that the site address is in Xfinity's "system." She has asked me to go to a local store, where I expect to hear much the same thing.
It seems that others have requested help here on new construction topics and have been asked to submit direct messages. Is that still an appropriate way to start a dialog over something like this?
