New construction
I have requested installation of xfinity internet, but there is no cable ran to the utility pole outside my home. A technician visited and verified that they needed an engineering construction ticket to build out the line to my house. I was told they needed to survey what was needed and would get back to me with a quote on the installation. It has been several months and I haven’t heard back from anyone about this.
Every time I call I either can’t get through the AI bots because my issue doesn’t exist in their parameters, or when I do get through the representative has no clue what is going on and eventually just lies to me, reassuring me that they will escalate the ticket and I will be hearing back from them shortly. Months have gone by with no resolution.
What do I need to do to get this cable installed? Is there a way to check the status of the engineering ticket?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, @user_chs3uz thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. You've contacted the right place for assistance, we do partner with local construction teams, and I'd like to investigate this further. From experience the construction process can take 90-120 days, I see mentioned someone was out a few months back so want to see if I can find an open construction ticket, and if needed can look for a local construction contact I can reach out to.
Since I'll need to gather some information that we don't want here in our public conversation, when you have time please send a direct message.
