New construction - type of pole?
We are about to move into a new construction house in a couple of weeks and I have contacted Comcast regarding a site survey. Comcast serves the area and all the houses around me, but I started reading horror stories of people in similar situations not being able to get new service. We have a pole right right in front of my house by the road. It seems this pole only has AT&T and Comcast, however and no power. We had to trench for underground power from a neighbors utility pole up the road. Could Comcast provide me service off of this pole and trench the cable underground?
I wasn’t able find a way to embed a picture to this posting, so here is a link to the picture I took of the utility pole. Thanks.

So, Comcast had to send a construction crew out to estimate the cost of extending the hard line to my house since I was more than 250 ft from the nearest pole. It turns out the estimate was over $5000. Is there anyone I can contact to discuss the details of this estimate and to find out if there's a way I can do some of the work myself such as trenching, running conduit, etc to save some cost? I call/chat with Comcast and they really can't give me any details other than the notes made by the construction crew concerning the ticket. I have a ticket number if someone on here is able to look up that info. Thanks.
