New Construction Service Request?

Hello! I purchased a 2024 new construction in a 30+yo neighborhood - according to serviceablility maps, my neighbors all around are eligible.

Upon calling xfinity, I was told it could take months, potentially up to a year to get service connected. Although that's not thrilling, I can deal IF that truly is the case. I've had a lot of neighbors, and people who have also purchased new construction, tell me that shouldn't be the case UNLESS the neighborhood was not previously serviced.

What can I do? The phone rep told me that Hughesnet was my ONLY option.

Hello

user_zninkw. Thank you for reaching out on our Community forum. I can look into your address for you and see what options we may have.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and address so that we can assist you further.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
