New Construction Service Request — [Edited], Scituate, MA
Hi Xfinity Support team,
I’m building a brand-new home on undeveloped land in Scituate, MA. The address is newly assigned and may not yet appear in your system. I’d like to request a construction/build-out ticket to:
- Add the address to your service system
- Run the exterior drop
- Install the demarcation point
- Coordinate with my builder/GC for interior cable outlet activation
Details:
• Name: [Edited: "Personal Information"]
• New service address:[Edited: "Personal Information"]
• Contact phone:[Edited: "Personal Information"]
• Builder/GC: K&E Construction — rough electric is done, as well as most of finish electric so I'm afraid I may have waited to long but I'm pretty sure we roughed in conduit to support cable/internet.
Please let me know what the next steps are, any expected timeline, and if there are any costs I should plan for. I’m eager to get this scheduled so we can align it with our construction timeline. Construction is set to be done by End-January/Early-February. Apologies in advance if I'm late - we're new to this.
Thank you!
Jeremy

Hi user_kzirzd, thanks for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I would be happy to help you get your new address set up in our system, so we can see about getting services there once the build is complete. To get started, please send our team a Direct Message with your full name, your email address, and the service address.
To send a "Direct Message":
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
