New construction Internet installation issue.
Hello my Name is Daniel. I recently purchased a home in Dayton Tx (New Construction) and it has been a hassle trying to get internet set up here. Because the home is a new construction xfinity isn’t able to service me they’ve pushed me off 60-90 days (maybe longer)because the original contractor who serviced my neighbors/ homes around me claims my house wasn’t in his original contract therefore there’s nothing he can do. I have had the same issue with a different company and it all just sounds ridiculous. So am I just not supposed to have internet until someone feels like it’s the appropriate time? My wife and I both work from home and our kids are homeschooled. this has been demoralizing. xfinity if you would so please reach out to me with a solution we’d be very grateful. thank you

Good Afternoon, @user_xvqi89! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. I am very sorry to hear about the experience with bringing service to your location, it certainly is not what we want for our customers. Typically, if construction is required, it would take 60-120 days to complete based on any local permitting, and laws. I would be more than happy to look into the details with you. Can you please send us a DM to get started?
