New Construction Home - Service Availability & Infrastructure Needed

Hello,

I’ll be moving into a newly built home on a street with 12 total lots (3 homes already completed, 9 under construction). The new homes address is, [Edited: Personal Information]. The builders informed us that they did not coordinate with an internet provider to run services for the neighborhood. However, there is an apartment complex with Xfinity service located approximately 300 meters away.

Could you please explain the process for requesting new infrastructure to be installed, and let me know what costs, if any, would fall on the homeowners versus the provider?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Torrence28485 Thanks for taking the time to post on our Community Forums. Congrats on the new home! That must be very exciting, and I hope you get some input on the design and features. We can help create a serviceability request to have the area reviewed and see what options are available to extend the network to the new neighborhood. We would need more information to get this started, and we would not request any personal information provided here in a public area. If you would, please send our team a direct message with your full name, current address, and the new address to get started.
