new condo needs cable
We've been trying unsuccessfully for a week to have Xfinity move the cable/internet into our apartment in Chicago from the common 'cable room' in the building, which has a contract with Xfinity. We waited for a technician yesterday through a 12-hour window. They never showed up. We followed up with X, were hung up on at least three times, and were finally assured that a technician would show up today. He did, but said he was not qualified to route the cable into the apartment. He told us he would have X contact us to arrange a Multi Unit Dwelling technician. We heard nothing. So here we are. Needless to say, this is a corporate failure of communication, efficiency, intelligence and decency. Not to mention straightforward consumer rip-off. A simple plan would be appreciated.

@guruspeaker I appreciate you making us aware you're still in need of getting the cable installed in your apartment after today's appointment. I would be more than happy to review your account to see what we can do to get this taken cared of. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section.
