New Coax outlet

I plan to relocate my modem to another room of my house, but there currently is no coax outlet in that other room. Can I get a new coax outlet installed and wire ran on the outside of my house?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_3m55zt Hi there! Thanks for creating the post and reaching out to our community for help with relocating your modem. You came to the best place for help. Our technicians are awesome and can help out. But we are limited in regard to wall fishing our cable lines. We do not have that option, but running the line outside the home to a new room should be possible.
We can set up an appointment for a new outlet to be installed, there is usually an installation fee applied to the account for requests like this, and it is about $100.00.

If you would like us to set up that appointment for you please send us a direct message with your name and service address. From there we will obtain account verification and set up the installation.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.
