New cable box

I just received a new 4K cable box but it doesn’t have dvr.  Can I get an Arris XG1V4 cable box instead?

Every box has Cloud DVR now. Did you get an Xi6, which does not have a coax connection?

Only XG1v4 is the only one that still has a local hard drive, but I believe even some of those do not have hard drives anymore.
