New cable box

I just requested a new box through the upgrade site and all it states is What You'll Get "New TV Box". I need a 4K box. How can I confirm that is what I will receive?

Hello, @user_5fudxv  you should receive a new TV Box that provides an enhanced experience with improved quality and channel access. The upgrade site ensures you get better reliability and a newer X1 experience, and access to additional features the old box could not. It would be my pleasure to see if I can review your equipment update for a 4K box. I can also ship one out to you or direct you to the nearest retail location to pick one up. 

 

To get started could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
