New box without cable input

I received updated boxes; however they don’t have a cable input. My internet is too slow and now my tv is lagging. Can I get updated boxes with a cable input?

Greetings, @user_d6q721! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your new cable boxes, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

If you already have the cable lines in place, it should be no problem to swap out those wireless boxes for the cable-connected versions. We have a few different ways we can accomplish this. If you are near one of our Xfinity Stores, you can bring the wireless boxes in, along with the provided power supply cords, and trade them for wired boxes the same day.

If it is more convenient, we can also ship the replacement boxes to you first, then have you bring in or send back the wireless boxes once everything was in place. What would be the best option for you?

@XfinityJamesC will you send me new boxes with cable inputs?  I’ll send back the other boxes. Thank you

Certainly, @user_d6q721! If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” (speech bubble) icon in the top-right corner of the screen, then the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the section, type or select "Xfinity Support" and type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.
