New area Service

I am moving to an area that according to your website, is an area you do not provide service for. How do I petition a consideration to offer service to a non serviced area?

Hello user_47tf1q

Is there an established cable provider already established in the area? Normally if there is a rural location or an existing cable provider there is unfortunately not much on a consumer end to make that change.

I am in [Edited: personal information].  That is not a rural area.  How do we get Xfinity service here?

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_t8bujl! Your address may be outside of our footprint or have another existing cable provider in the area. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look if our services are available at your address! To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.

I am having this same issue. I went to the Xfinity store and they just ran the same website info that a consumer does by entering the address.  The footprint ends across the road, I already know this, it's why I went in. The FCC Broadband Map site shows Xfinity is an available option for my new address (there are no other high speed options shown or in this area). I need to know if service is possible someway/somehow or if Xfinity plans to expand across the road soon or what any issues are as far as why they cannot. Store clerks don't know this and don't seem to want to investigate, same with chat bot. I would like to talk to someone who knows this stuff and can explain any and all possible options for access.  I do not see an option to direct message. Thanks!!

user_g3nwwk You have come to the right place to put in a request for the home to be serviced, and they can provide details after investigation if there is a reason why we can't. I'll be happy to put this in for you!

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?
