New Apple Watch activation issues
Is Xfinity going to fix this issue? Cannot get Apple Watch Ultra 3 or my wife’s Apple Watch 11 46mm to activate when setting up cellular. My time to send things back is running out. This is unacceptable.

After hours at store, friendly staff was not able to start a newly bought IWatch se3 to a separate line; I stopped the purchase.
Sure looks like fraud when they sell “stand alone cell” they can’t deliver.
The day before, the same staff WAS able to activate my 10 to my existing line. Sadly, I had paid for cellular $10 a month when it never was activated. My issue on old my 10 was that it wasn’t activated when bought, and I didn’t realize till a year later- my error.
I don’t need some happy Xfinity reply. I can see why Xfinity is not an apples purchase partner due to activation issues. I had difficulty on newly offered iPhone in the past that took 3 days to work. Once devices were activated, I am fine with service. Thanks to all that posted.

During the set up process, when it gives you the option of using your apple id. Choose a new apple id. Then create a brand new apple id complete with new apple email and password just for that watch. You can watch a youtube video on this process but it is quite simple. That is the only work around that I have found. Because no one on xfinity mobile help or in the store had any solution except to return my watch. But after reading this whole forum of the same issues Im dealing with I figured there had to be a fix. For a seperate cellular watch with its own number, create its own apple id. You can add it to your phone as part of your apple family plan and go from there as far as controls, child controls, sharing and options. Hope this helps.
