New address New Construction

Hello. I have built a new home and just registered the address with the US PS. About how long will it take for your database to recognize the new address.? I have searched multiple addresses around the house and all are recognized by Xfinity except my address.

Hi @Walkthesky. That is a great question! As soon as USPS recognizes the new address, we can formally submit a ticket on our end, to put it in our systems! You would just need to let us know when.

@XfinityBilly​  my address is officially uploaded to the usps database.  I can pull it up on usps.com.  However I cannot pull it up on xfinity yet.  When can that be expected?  What I mean is if I try to add address as new service, the xfinity website does not recognize it.

• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon  
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type " Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select " Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

No worries at all! The peer to peer Icon should be at the top right corner, and looks almost like a little message bubble! 🙂
