New account at old account address
We currently have Xfinity cable and internet set up at our home with two cable boxes and a router. We want to cancel our services, but our mother, who lives in residence in a MIL apartment, would like to start a new account with just internet. Is it possible for her to use our old equipment? Do we need to go to the store to set this up or can it be done remotely?

Thank you very much for reaching out to us here @user_vqszqw. Normally we would advise that the new account be set up with its own equipment. You would have an option to visit a service center if you wanted to transfer the ownership of an account over to a separate party.
