New 1 gig plan

I want to switch to the new 1 gig 50dollar month internet plan and it keeps coming up 100$ instead of 50.

user_7njv4r, hello there and thanks for reaching out. I understand your concerns! That $50 plan is for new customers at a introductory rate. I understand this may not be the news you're hoping to hear and however, we are willing to take a look at available campaigns in your account for you. What we see can be what you see and what you may see can be better than what we see. There are many factors to those available campaigns as current customers. Would you like me to check?

Yes please, my current speed is fine, but a price closer to that 50 dollars would be great

This just seems wrong to me that loyal customers are not given any special promotions other than yearly price increases. Xfinity would rather approach new potential customers than extend offers to loyal customers that have gotten them to where they are now.
